Built in several stages, the Nordbahnviertel is one of Vienna’s largest and newest urban development projects in the context of inner-city development: 20,000 people will live there in the future. In order to limit soil sealing, it was decided to build high-rise buildings but to provide residents with plenty of green open space. This walk through urban wilderness, parks and green courtyards will give you the opportunity to feel nature behind the walls of the densely populated city.
